Elevate the quality of recycled resin to the next stage with the Kopleon deodorization system.
Double treatment with a twin-screw extruder and silo deodorization fundamentally solves the "odor" of recycled resin.
While the utilization of recycled resin pellets is advancing, the odor derived from raw materials poses a significant challenge in terms of quality. Our company effectively reduces the characteristic odors of recycled materials by combining the melting and deodorization process using a twin-screw extruder with the aging and deodorization process in silos. Deodorization with a twin-screw extruder: By utilizing high shear and kneading performance, the resin is uniformly melted while efficiently removing odor components through the addition of water and a vacuum venting mechanism. This directly addresses the source of odors during the extrusion process. Finishing with silo deodorization: By allowing the pellets to be thoroughly ventilated and aged within the silo after extrusion, even trace amounts of residual odor components are gradually released. This achieves "uniform deodorization," which is difficult to accomplish with batch processing. Through this two-step treatment, we achieve both immediate deodorization during the process and the removal of residual odors over time, ensuring a stable supply of low-odor recycled resin pellets. We also have lab equipment available. Please feel free to contact us. When combined with Herbold's cleaning equipment, we can provide a one-stop solution for the cleaning and pelletizing of recycled materials.
